I know I’ve written an article about this a long time ago (complete with my husband Chad modelling for me), but I figured it’s time for a refresher on how to properly drink and appreciate wine.
This is the more methodical, professional approach to tasting wine, of course (hence the touch of science added to it… I mean, really… One shouldn’t spit in front of proper dinner guests, right?). I think it’s a great insight as to how the pros do it and not teeter after having to evaluate 80+ wines in one sitting.
Far be it for me when the evaluator sneaks in a gulp of a stonking wine, though (guilty!).
As I always say in a wine class, however… Spit please!
