Is anyone out there severely #adulting these days? I know I’ve been. I’ve had back-to-back events. I’ve been running around town for work, chasing deadlines, doing errands, and taking care of the family, including our furchildren (including a rambunctious 6 month old Golden Retriever).
As I looked at the calendar, I thought to myself, “Where did October go?” That’s when I realised… I wasn’t able to fully enjoy Oktoberfest.
*insert string of German profanities here*
I mean, this is what I’m missing:
Then, in a stroke of provenance, the wonderful people of Draft Restaurant and Brewery (probably sensing my itch for a good pint of Oktoberfest beer, haha) invited me to their Paulaner Oktoberfest celebration.
We could never take a photo of a full mug. Hahaha… #chug
It was there that I found out I could still enjoy a free upsize of Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier (from 330ml to 500ml, or from 500ml to 1L) and their special platter (because what’s beer without proper food, right?) until 31 October 2018.

For those people wondering why I got so excited about this, I’m a huge fan of Paulaner. Could it be because we had the privilege of visiting their brewery in Munich? Maybe, but I have always loved its flavour profile. One of the six accredited Munich Oktoberfest breweries, Paulaner’s to fame is its immense global popularity, being the number one selling beer worldwide. It’s one of the easier drinking Oktoberfest beers: A typical lager, beautifully golden, with a smooth, full bodied texture, well-balanced flavours, and pleasant notes of hops.
Time really does fly when one is #adulting, so excuse me while I run to the closest Draft and get myself a liter. Goodness knows I need it. 😉 Prost!
