If anyone has stumbled upon our humble website for the first time, first of all, welcome! We’ve got booze.
Second, I haven’t been writing much because I’ve finally started making those changes that I’ve been meaning to do years ago: Introducing videos.
I guess the beauty of the pandemic (gotta count my blessings here) is that the lack of events has finally allowed me to sit still long enough in front of a camera to shoot myself drinking things. I mean, this is still mostly a one woman operation, so the amount of effort I have to do to get one video done is significant.
For perspective, I man my own camera, set up my own lights (the lighting needs work but chalk it up to my #noob skills), and research my own material (which I believe is crucial… I won’t vlog for the sake of vlogging)… but I’m still a tech-dunce so I’ve got a good editor to hash out the flubs.
Anyway.
This is admittedly a long-winded explanation on why I’ve been noticeably absent from the site, but let me assure everyone (and myself?) that I’m very much alive!
In fact, here’s one of our first videos for a bit of “proof of life.” I find that it’s very timely because, speaking of the pandemic giving us so much more time to do better things than contend with Metro Manila’s infamous traffic, a lot of people I know really got into Kdramas.

If there’s anything constant in Kdramas, it’s the fact that there’s always a scene where someone is drinking soju… which is why I crave for some every single time I watch one, and why I always have some on hand in our fridge.
So, when I was asked to feature the things I drank during the lockdown, I had to mention soju – and my favourite variant, Good Day Peach Soju.
While I still don’t think I’m much of an influencer, the wonderful people of Nextrade Philippines got in touch with me to give me a box full of swag… which I then decided to feature in our very first Uncapped video.
Everything I’ve got left to say about the product is included in everything I said in the video, but…
PROMO ALERT!!!
People can buy Good Day Soju (I’ve since gravitated towards their original variant because I find that it’s so good with Korean food) and Tock Soda from this link and GET A 10% DISCOUNT USING MY CODE NEXTRADE:
Anyway, we hope people enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it. Cheers!
