I just found out that one of my articles about the fantastic people of The Manila Rum Club (or MNRLC) has been published on ancx.ph.
It’s an awesome publication to work with, because they let me truly geek out on my specialty: Drinks.
Rum, by definition, is a spirit made by distilling molasses from sugar cane, something we have an abundance of in the Philippines (and most tropical places)… This is probably why the beverage conjures up images of island living, and Johnny Depp on Pirates of the Caribbean.
Having said that, I was stoked to have attended one of the monthly get-togethers held in Mandalay Whisky and Cigar Bar… But hey, I’m getting ahead of myself. Click here to read all about it.
Special thanks to Mr. John Go and Mr. Jake Goodwin of the MNLRC, and Mr. Sunil Jhamtani and Mr. Michael Fox of Mandalay Whisky and Cigar Bar (OPL Building Annex, 100 Don Carlos Palanca Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, (02) 625-8828).
For the next MNLRC session, follow @Jake_rummy on Instagram. Cheers!
PS: We apologize for not finihing the Avengers article… We are still emotional wrecks from watching Avengers: Endgame. We should be able to post part 2 next week. 😉
